I can’t believe I wasted an entire weekend arguing with my partner. Usually we get along like two peas in a pod but last weekend was another story. We’d planned to do some gardening together (one of our favourite pastimes) and when we got out into the yard we realised how much the trees had grown. One of them was in need of a decent trim, the other was just getting out of control and we realised we had to be done with it. It was a shame because the tree provided some lovely shade, but it was interfering with power lines, and if there was a storm or lightning struck, it’d collapse right on our house. In the end, we decided on hiring services for tree removal. Caulfield is within the service area of a few good companies.
Tree felling is not something you want to try by yourself. But my partner kept insisting that we could do it ourselves and save some money. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and we began analysing the tree, trying to figure out the best way to remove the branches and then saw the thing down. It seemed really ridiculous to me that we were going to attempt this, I knew that we were tempting fate, and neither of us could agree on how to tackle the tree, which we began calling ‘The Beast’.
After hours and hours of shouting at each other he finally relented to calling the arborists. You have no idea how relieved I was that we didn’t have to do the tree felling. Melbourne arborists can do it quickly, efficiently and safely! That to me is well worth the money. The tree revivalist came out not long after our call and the giant Gum was gone before we could say, ‘Dinner time.’ I had to laugh at my partner’s face, as he begrudgingly admitted he was wrong and that the tree removal went smoothly.
